This documentary project tells the story of New York City's historic migration crisis through the lens of people like Siley, Marko, and Amir – migrants who came to the United States in search of a better life.

When Amir Alfuutiyu arrived in New York City, he thought his journey was over – but since then, he has had to reapply for one of the city's over 200 shelters more than 10 times.
